He's the guy who about 5 months ago wrote me some email bitching about me and the US, and it was so ridiculous that I posted it as the description of a video along with his email. Two hours later, I had an email from him begging me to take it down because people were emailing him and giving him a piece of their mind. That was funny.

Over the last month, on a couple of occassions, he's gone off on me in comments but I just ignore him.

I don't understand why people are getting so pissy about old threads being revived. The threads are here for a reason, for discussion. When they were posted has absolutely no bearing on a person's interest in any give topic of discussion. So what if it was posted two months ago, or even five? Everyone has the right to post their thoughts.

Let me throw out a hypothetical scenario: Let's suppose Member A creates a topic about the finer points of professional bass fishing. Member A is an amateur, and would like to know more about it. The thread gets very few replies, he/she doesn't get any satisfactory answers, and the thread dies. Two months later, Member Z comes along and joins the forums, and he/she happens to be a professional fisherman. He/she sees the thread, and revives it by giving Member A the information he/she had wanted in the first place. Wouldn't Member A be most appreciative? Now imagine if you were that *Member A*.....

Surely most of us belong to, or have been, members in other forums, and have seen *dead* topics that piqued our interest.
